Readability Tools 1.0 Released - June 2007
Readability Tools has been released. It provides utilities that help you analyze and improve the readability of FrameMaker documents and books.
Readability Tools is $20 for a single-user license, $200 for a site license, and is available for FrameMaker 6.x and 7.x on Windows and Macintosh.
LEP Tools 1.1 Build 101 Released - December 2006
LEP Tools has been updated. An obscure memory bug was fixed in this release. Any LEP Tools users should update to this latest build. The update is free to all registered LEP Tools users.
Table Tools 1.0 Released - July 2006
Table Tools has been released. It provides utilities that help you manage table tags in FrameMaker documents.
Table Tools is $10 for a single-user license, $100 for a site license, and is available for FrameMaker 6.x and 7.x on Windows and Macintosh.
LEP Tools 1.1 Released - December 2005
LEP Tools has been updated. It now supports using marker content and element attributes as source items for LEP content. The update is free to all registered LEP Tools users.
Character Tools 1.3 and Paragraph Tools 2.1 Released - May 2005
Character Tools and Paragraph Tools have been updated. Both now provide a routine to list character or paragraph tags in use separately for each file in a book. Paragraph Tools can now display the formatting characteristics for a single paragraph tag. Scripting support has been added to Character Tools.
The updates are free to all registered Character Tools and Paragraph Tools users.
Silicon Prairie Products for Frame Solaris Updated - April 2005
The following Silicon Prairie plug-ins for Frame Solaris have been updated:
- Auto-Text 4.0
- Character Tools 1.3
- Index Tools Professional 2.1
- Paragraph Tools 2.1
Versions for Frame 6.x and Frame 7.x have been produced. Use the Solaris Archive link at the left to access these plug-ins.
Index Tools Professional and Master Page Tools Updated - December 2004
Index Tools Professional and Master Page Tools have been updated.
The Index Tools Pro update fixes an issue that can occur when a conditional index entry was the last entry in a document.
The Master Page Tools update resolves an issue when multiple connected text frames are used in a single flow on a page.
The updates are free to all registered Index Tools Professional and Master Page Tools users.
Auto-Text 4.0 Released - October 2004
Auto-Text 4.0 has been released. This updated version allows "block" Auto-Text items, which can contain multiple items, such as text, tables, and anchored frames.
Auto-Text is $10 for a single-user license, $100 for a site license, and is available for FrameMaker 6.0 and 7.0 on Windows and Macintosh.
The upgrade is free to all registered Auto-Text users.
Index Tools 1.3 Updated - October 2004
Index Tools 1.3 has been released. This updated version allows indexes to be formatted automatically after a generate/update operation. The continuation text and formatting is now configurable.
Index Tools is available for both FrameMaker 6 and 7, on the Windows and Macintosh and platforms. A single-user license is $10.
The upgrade is free to all registered Index Tools users. This version of Index Tools uses the Silicon Prairie registration mechanism, which requires a registration code. If you are a registered Index Tools user, send an e-mail message to Silicon Prairie and request a registration code.
Character Tools 1.2 Updated - September 2004
Character Tools 1.2 has been released. This updated version resolves an issue with removing formatting when performing character format conversions. It also supports finding and removing overrides from footnotes. It also allows generating a character format report for individual formats.
Character Tools is available for both FrameMaker 6 and 7, on the Windows and Macintosh and platforms. A single-user license is $10.
The upgrade is free to all registered Character Tools users.
